Well, the time came, and we sent 6 of our geese off for prep and dressing. Just left to range and eat as normal, so not fed up or restricted in any way.

5 ganders and 1 goose, and weights were

Ours also only lay seasonally. No eggs here till Feb time. Boys heading to the freezer soon...and the start of pairing them off again to ensure the right ones, do the right thing, to the right goose! ...
